Our vision is to inspire the restoration of God in our lives as King, Father, and Creator. He is the Lord God Almighty, and we are called to deepen our understanding of who He is and how to live lives of faith within our local communities.
God has given us His light to shine in the world, and we are called to share the gift of the Gospel and the hope of the Messiah, Jesus, with others.
Community is one of God's greatest gifts to us. As a community, we are called to do life together and be a light to the world. The story of the Good Samaritan offers a powerful example for us to follow: we are called to love others, bind up their wounds, and care for those who are hurting. Gathering together in community is vital for both our spiritual and physical well-being.

We believe that there is only one true God. In the Bible, God is represented by the four Hebrew letters: יְהֹוָה (Yud Hey Vav Hey), and is pronounced in various ways, including Yehovah and Yahweh.
In English, He is often referred to as God, and some call Him HaShem, meaning "The Name" (Genesis 2:4). God is our Father, the Creator of all things—both visible and invisible (Colossians 1:16).
He is Spirit and Life, and we belong to Him (Genesis 1-3). He is holy, perfect, and flawless in every way.
In a modern world, many think that the Bible is just another dated book without relevance for today's issues. This is not even remotely true. The Bible is the written Word of God. It is one of the most read and trusted documents in history. It was written over a period of 1500 years by 40 different people who were under the inspiration of God. It was written using three different languages. It is commonly divided into two "testaments" commonly called old and new.
The Bible is much more than two individual testaments. It is one entire book from Genesis to Revelation. It starts with Light and ends with Light. The Light is our Messiah. Weekly Bible study allows us to go deeper into the Scriptures to see how God is revealing Messiah to us.
The idea that "we were never designed to be alone" is foundational to creation. From the very beginning of the Biblical narrative, in Genesis 2:18, God says, "It is not good for man to be alone." God has placed great importance of relationships and community in the design for His People.
God created humans as relational beings, emphasizing the need for connection and companionship. When He created Woman as a helper and mate for Man, it wasn't merely about solving the problem of loneliness—it was a deeper reflection of the need for partnership, mutual support, and shared purpose. The word “helper” in the Hebrew context (‘ezer) refers not to subordination but to a complementary strength, indicating that men and women were designed to work together, each fulfilling roles that enrich and support one another. This balance between Man and Woman was intended to form the first community.
We see this in Scripture as people live together in communities, sharing faith, bearing each other's burdens, and working together to share the Gospel. Community is where connect locally to study the Word of God. We would love for you to join us each Thursday for a Ladies Bible study at Central Baptist. We gather at 9:30 for study and prayer.
Bible study doesn't have to be confusing! God meant for us to understand His Word. The Bible is filled instruction, hope, love, forgiveness, and correction. Bible study is a lifelong journey and we never really arrive. Here are some basic tips to studying the Bible:
